Greetings from Putney, Vermont!

It’s the best time of year in Vermont, when all Putney Student Travel’s summer program leaders come to the Green Mountain State and gather at The Barn, Putney’s charming office building. It’s four days of stoking the excitement for the trip and finalizing plans. We your co-leaders, and the entire community in Vietnam, CAN’T WAIT to meet you. Soon we’ll arrive to the idyllic rice fields and sparkling beaches of central Vietnam, where friendly faces, fresh homemade meals, and as-yet-unbuilt family homes await us.

We hope you are as excited as we are! As we count down the days, you can pass the time by reading up on the rich history of Vietnam and examining its geography. We will cover a lot of the country while we are there, so the more you know ahead of time, the better equipped you will be to process it all rapidly and get the most of your experiences.
